• Footwear- Closed toed foot wear (Boots or Hiking Boots)
• Leather Work Gloves
• Snack and food for the duration of the class
• Beverages( ie: Coffee or Soft Drinks)

• Hammock, Tent, or Tarp Shelter
• Sleep System or Sleeping Bag
• Medications
• Bug Repellent
• Fixed Blade Carbon Steel Knife with 90 degree Spine (Examples: Mora Garberg, Mora Bushcraft)
• High Lumen Headlamp with EXTRA Batteries
• Folding Saw and or Camp Axe
•  100 ft paracord
• 1/4 lb NO.36 bank line
• Minimum 8x10 tarp
• Single wall canteen or water bottle
• Personal first aid kit
• Write in rain notebook
• Pen or pencil
• Eye Protection
• 1/2 inch Ferro Rod

Class Description:

You will spend one night in tarp shelter in order to get certification.

Will intentionally be put in stressful situation at some point to replicate fatigue, hyperhermia, etc.
